Quaker® Debuts 100 Reasons to Rise, an Inspirational Photo Project Shot by Acclaimed Photographer Misan Harriman

Quaker has introduced its latest global platform, ‘You’ve Got This,’ with the unveiling of ‘100 to Rise,’ a heartwarming black-and-white photo series capturing everyday heroes from ages one to 100 as they embark on important days in their lives. Renowned photographer Misan Harriman lends his talent to this project, showcasing the authenticity of human connection through intimate morning moments. The initiative stems from Quaker’s research, revealing that mornings signify hope for many individuals globally, and stories of resilience can inspire people to persevere.

‘100 Reasons to Rise’ shines a spotlight on unsung heroes like a one-year-old ringbearer, a 61-year-old man meeting his new grandson, and an 86-year-old salsa dancer, encapsulating the beauty of morning rituals and fresh starts. To engage audiences, Quaker has crafted an interactive digital experience and pop-up galleries in Toronto, starting at The Harbourfront Centre on April 10th before moving to Union Station from April 17th to 19th. This project aims to celebrate the potential in each individual and spread messages of encouragement and hope through storytelling.

Misan Harriman expressed his appreciation for Quaker’s innovative approach, allowing for genuine observations and authentic storytelling within people’s homes. The photographer highlighted the unique partnership with Quaker, describing it as a rare opportunity to capture the essence of human experiences. As ‘100 Reasons to Rise’ travels beyond Toronto to other global destinations, it continues to inspire audiences with its celebration of resilience and fortitude in the face of life’s challenges.
