Michelob ULTRA and Williams Racing present ‘Lap of Legends,’ a groundbreaking television special featuring current F1 driver Logan Sargeant racing against virtual avatars of six renowned Williams Racing legends. The event showcases cutting-edge technology, including AI and AR, to recreate the driving styles and strategies of iconic drivers like Mario Andretti, Nigel Mansell, and Jenson Button. Through meticulous research of over 720 races, Michelob ULTRA has recreated the essence of these legendary racers, culminating in a thrilling 15-lap race captured using advanced camera technology. Co-hosted by Jenson Button and Naomi Schiff, ‘Lap of Legends’ offers fans a unique experience delving into the history and excitement of Formula 1.
Fans can tune in to the premiere of “Lap of Legends” on AMC, BBC America, and The Roku Channel at 10 p.m. ET / 9 p.m. CT in the U.S. The one-hour film will also be distributed across 28 countries around the world, including Canada, Mexico, Brazil, and more.
