New Cookbook from Roc Chef Features 40 Diverse, Gluten-Free Recipes
Calvin Eaton, founder of The Gluten Free Chef, a health and wellness brand dedicated to gluten-free living, is launching his debut cookbook, Just Desserts: 40 Step-by-Step Gluten-Free Dessert Recipes, on Fri., Dec. 1. The book marks the 10th anniversary of The Gluten Free Chef blog.
A free cookbook signing, honoring the release of both the soft and hardcover editions, will be held at Hipocampus Children’s Books, located at 638 South Ave., from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.
“People with gluten-free diets often face a lack of delicious, nutritious options, which is why this book is so important,” said Calvin Eaton, founder of The Gluten Free Chef. “Our cookbook serves as a compass to building that joyful and creative gluten-free lifestyle, whether you’re new to this diet or you’ve been committed to years. I’ve joyfully crafted flavorful recipes for the community that will help even the novice baker.”
Eaton is aiming to foster community among others who are gluten-free. He will be available for interviews and book signings. The event will also feature free samples from the recipes in the book.
