The Feminist Gaze: Art and Activism at Moxy Miami South Beach
FEMINIST, the leading social-first digital platform dedicated to women, girls and gender expansive people, and AKQA presents The Feminist Gaze: Art and Activism panel discussion at Moxy Miami South Beach. An engaging and thought-provoking conversation, this panel will explore the intersection of art and culture through a feminist lens. Moderated by Aisha Becker-Burrowes, Co-Founder and Head of Strategy & Impact at FEMINIST, this talk will cover the role of art in social change, challenges faced by women in the art world, as well as the crucial role curators and women in leadership play in creating spaces for women artists.
Panelists will feature Cierra Britton, founder of Cierra Britton Gallery; Flo Ngala, the first black woman to photograph the MET Gala; and Hannah Traore, Founder and Director of Hannah Traore Gallery.
