Lay’s, Sabritas, Gamesa, and Rockstar Energy Drink have joined forces to become the official snacks and energy drink sponsors of Leagues Cup 2024. This multi-year partnership, announced today, will see the renowned snack brands supporting the World Cup-style tournament featuring all 47 clubs from Major League Soccer (MLS) and LIGA MX. The collaboration aims to enhance the soccer viewing experience for fans with a delicious lineup of snacks, cookies, crackers, and energy drinks.
Throughout the summer, Lay’s, Sabritas, Gamesa, and Rockstar Energy Drink will engage fans with exclusive packaging, in-stadium experiences, and a sweepstake offering tickets to matches across the country. Fans can participate by scanning QR codes on specially marked displays found at retailers nationwide starting July 1. The grand prize includes a trip and tickets to the Leagues Cup 2024 final.
Antonio Escalona, from PepsiCo Foods North America’s Hispanic Business Unit, expressed pride in having Lay’s, Sabritas, and Gamesa as official snacks of Leagues Cup, highlighting their commitment to elevating the sport of soccer in North America. The Leagues Cup tournament, scheduled from July 26 to August 25, 2024, will feature all 18 clubs from LIGA MX and all 29 clubs from MLS. Three qualifiers for the 2025 Concacaf Champions Cup will be determined during Leagues Cup 2024, with the ultimate winner representing the region at the FIFA Club World Cup.
