Matte Collection, the fashion brand known for their vibrant and bold swimwear, showcased their latest collection during a runway show on Saturday, June 10th at The Plymouth Beach in Miami Beach. The show drew a diverse crowd, with guests including influencers, celebrities, and industry insiders.
Justina McKee, the founder of the brand, described the new collection as “more about the feeling, rather than representational.” This sentiment was showcased throughout the show, as models walked down the runway in colorful swimsuits that displayed a range of textures and patterns.
The show opened with a choir performance before transitioning into afrobeats artist Mannywellz’s energetic beats that set the pace for the models to strut out in style.
The show featured a diverse group of models, including Amber Keaton, Bailey Clark, Braelene Owen, Karen Soto, Liana Kai, Liy Liy, Savannah, Stephanie Peterson, Sandy Evangelista, Dilara Acar, Enayyah Musa, Emma Shea, Ashley Garcia, Amber Quinn, Shavonne Boggs, Juliette Nadine, and Briana Smith.

The show’s hair was done by Sarah Lund for Kevin Murphy, makeup by Claire Perez for New York Makeup Academy, and nails by Sally Hansen. FOH/PR SUPPORT PURPLE provided the much-needed support, with production handled by Lara Lopez Picasso for FUNKSHION.
