Over 60 RAGFL members and guests gathered to honor and recognize five unique and successful South Florida women for their social and community efforts.  Dr. Calderon was among the honorees for the contributions she has made to advance the cause of women and her commitment to children with special health care needs in Broward County.

“It’s an honor to receive this award.  I have had the privilege of working with the most powerful and inspirational women for the past 23 years – the mothers of our children with special health care needs. It really is on their behalf that I accept this recognition for their tireless dedication to their children and their families.  International Women’s Day exemplifies the importance they have in our community,” said Dr. Calderon, Assistant Administrator, CDTC.
