The Organic movement is growing and organics are no longer only available through your local hippie health store. Come and learn with our Nutritionist Larisa Alonso, if it is worth spending the extra money? The difference between conventionally and organically foods, when is it more important to choose organics.

PREVENTION OF NECK & BACK PAIN IN THE KITCHEN (12noon – 1:30pm)
Join our Physical Therapist Dr. Yoav Suprun to learn how bad kitchen postures can affect your neck and back. Learn how the pain can be eliminated utilizing the McKenzie method. Specific exercises and rationale for self-treatment will be provided.

FOOD AS MEDICINE (12noon – 1:30pm)
Discover herbs and foods that Chinese medicine has used for thousands of years to treat a variety of ailments, including fatigue, the common cold, swelling, and menstrual issues. We will also look at some of the more common herbs such as Chinese ginseng and astragalus.
