Post-Basel madness will offer a brief calm after the storm to reflect a message of healing and awareness. ‘You Are What You Eat’ an exhibit and fundraiser will be held in the artistic lofts/gallery at Sailboat Bend on Saturday, December 15^th, 2012 from 7-10pm. Designed as a collaboration between Sailboat Bend resident artist Yudelka Tavera and T.J. Brown, founder of the Sickle Cell Natural Awareness Group Inc., the event will be a health-conscious visual expedition to benefit the non-profit organization. The mission, to educate and enhance the lives of not only those affected by this degenerative disease but the many other diseases affecting the community and world population. The installations and artworks on display will be aesthetic depictions illustrating the vital role that maintaining a healthy lifestyle and nutrition from consuming natural foods is to your general health and wellbeing.
