In support of The Palms Aveda Spa’s mission to care for the world we live in, Divine Fair Trade chocolate was selected for the Valentine’s weekend treat. Served alongside sustainable champagne, Pommery POP Earth, Divine is the only Fair Trade chocolate company which is 45% owned by the farmers. While Fair Trade ensures farmers receive a better deal for their cocoa and additional income to invest in their community, company ownership gives farmers a share of Divine’s profits and a stronger voice in the cocoa industry. Pommery POP Earth champagne is made of grapes from sustainable viticulture. It comes in a lighter bottle, with a recycled label printed with water-soluble inks. 100% recyclable, the POP Earth bottle has no jacket to limit the production of waste.
Launching February 11, the new Palms Signature Massage combines two of the spa’s most popular therapies, a 30-min. Hydrotherapy treatment with Aqua Salt Glow body scrub and a 50-min. Elemental Nature Massage. Combining the two treatments improves circulation, detoxifies, exfoliates, and conditions the body prolonging the benefits of massage therapy (80-min. $175). The Couples Massage is performed in the exclusive couples room or outdoors in a Tiki Cabanas (50 min. $280; 80 min. $380).
