Master Mixologist Giovanny Gutierrez to Host VIP Mojito Making Master Class to Celebrate National Mojito Day During ‘Mojito Mondays’ at Cuba Libre Restaurant & Rum Bar in Fort Lauderdale

Master Mixologist Giovanny Gutierrez will host a special VIP Mojito Making Master Class to celebrate National Mojito Day during ‘Mojito Mondays’ at Cuba Libre Restaurant & Rum Bar in Fort Lauderdale (800 E. Las Olas Blvd.) on Monday, July 11, from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m.

Master Class attendees will learn about the History of Rum and the secrets to creating the perfect mojito. The special edition class is $25 per person and includes two full sized cocktails and two small Cuban bites. The Master class is free to Cuba Libre’s “Las Olas Locals” VIP members.

National Mojito Day specials will include classic mojitos ($2 – one per person) and flavored mojitos ($6) at the bar during happy hour from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. The full happy hour menu will also be available.

In addition, ‘Mojito Monday’ specials include Cuba Libre’s famous classic mojitos and sangrias (red or white) in full-size pitchers ($25), flavored mojitos pitchers ($30), and empanadas ($2 each) offered all day, both at the bar and in the dining room. Guests who prefer non-alcoholic drinks are welcome to order any flavor of “no-jito” pitchers for $15.

Cuba Libre specializes in nine distinct hand-crafted mojitos all made with a base of freshly-pressed sugar cane juice (guarapo), fresh lime juice, mint, and a splash of soda plus a select spirit (rum, tequila, or vodka).
