“lunch & learn” workshop TITLED “TEENAGE GPS: PLOTTING THE COURSE TO HARMONY”

Informed Families/The Florida Family Partnership invites parents/caregivers to attend its FREE monthly Lunch & Learn workshop in October titled, “Teenage GPS: Plotting the Course to Harmony.” The workshop, co-sponsored by Informed Families and Baptist Health South Florida, is presented in an effort to help educate parents and members of the community.

Albert Zbik, Psy.D., national speaker and well-respected clinical psychologist and neuropsychologist, will lead the workshop. Dr. Zbik has contributed extensively to the treatment of mood disorders, chronic pain, anxieties, and relationship issues. He is past president of the Miami-Dade County Psychological Association, has served on the Board of the Florida Psychological Association, and is currently the assistant chief of the psychology division of Baptist and South Miami Hospitals.

“This event will provide a wonderful opportunity for parents and caregivers of teenagers to gain some insight about how to ‘navigate’ through this very important and transformational time in the children’s lives,” said Informed Families President and CEO Peggy Sapp.

An optional $10 box lunch will be available for purchase when making reservations.
