Zero-G to Award Outstanding STEM Student and Teacher with Zero Gravity Experience in Miami

Zero-G recently announced that it will award one outstanding Miami STEM teacher and student between 7th and 10th grade the ability to experience zero gravity weightlessness. The selected teacher will receive a free ticket for themselves and a student of their choice on Zero-G’s upcoming flight on December 2nd in Miami.

“Today’s kids will be solving tomorrow’s biggest challenges, so it’s absolutely critical that we play an active role in inspiring the next generation of STEM students” said Matt Gohd, CEO of Zero-G.

“In school we learn about gravity, and we experience it every day. But how often do we actually question gravity? That’s what we want for these kids: An eye-opening experience that prompts them to assume nothing, question everything, and inspire an insatiable hunger for answers.”

The Zero-G Experience features a modified Boeing 727 that flies in parabolic arcs to create a weightless environment, allowing you to float, flip, and soar as if you were in space. Zero-G is the country’s only FAA-certified provider of weightless flights, held to the same Part 121 safety standards as passenger airlines.

Interested teachers can contact Zero-G at https://www.gozerog.com/miami-stem-teachers with their name, school, subject taught, and a student they would like to accompany them on the flight.
