Miami Dolphins Bowl with Hispanic Unity 4 Teens Program

Miami Dolphins cornerback Jason Allen, defensive end Kendall Langford and linebacker Quentin Moses took children from Hispanic Unity, a non-profit organization that offers a wide range of services to immigrants and refugees, bowling at SpareZ in Davie today.  The students from Olsen Middle School enjoyed a wonderful afternoon of food, fun and games with the trio of players.

“I definitely enjoyed myself,” said Langford. “It was a good time to interact with the kids and this was a great event.”

Twenty kids were chosen from the program to participate in the event which they described as the experience of a lifetime.

“We love to get these children out and to make the connection with the Dolphins today was amazing, “ said Thomas Correll, Site Supervisor for the After School Programs at Olsen Middle School. “It means a lot to our kids to interact with professional players and find out what hard work and determination gets you.”

The event was part of several festivities leading up to the team’s Hispanic Heritage game against the New York Jets, presented by Bud Light, on Sunday, September 26 at Sun Life Stadium.
