Dan Marino helps kick-off Life Extension Nutrition Center Healthy Living Fair

LIFE EXTENSION LOGOFormer Miami Dolphins and National Football League Hall of Fame quarterback Dan Marino helps kick-off the 2013  Life Extension® Nutrition Center Healthy Living Fair on Friday, March 8-16. Marino, scheduled to speak from 7-8 p.m., will address the audience about his involvement with creating a line of dietary supplements.

The Life Extension® Nutrition Center Healthy Living Fair runs through Saturday, March 16. The entire week offers 10% off more than 350 proven, premium-quality dietary supplements in-store and special pricing on select blood tests. Plus there is a wide-range of free health lectures, interactive forums, panel discussions and free health screenings including free auditory screening by Miracle Ear, free bone density and body composition analysis. In addition you can consult one-on-one with a Life Extension health advisor (by appointment only).

Saturday, March 9, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., features health screenings, health exhibits and a focus on dietary supplements with plenty of product samplings.

Monday, March 11, Kimmi Le, Life Extension pharmacist, at 2 p.m. will present a lecture on the ABC’s of hormone replacement therapy.

Pets will be included too on Monday, at 6:30 p.m. with the healthy pet forum and a lecture about natural health for pets by Bill Piechock of the Pet Deli. Well-behaved dogs on leashes will be admitted.

Tuesday, March 12 from 2-3 p.m. features Jamie Mass, M.S., R.D., L.D./N. discussing good nutrition. And at 6:30 p.m., Mass will discuss health benefits of tea, including supporting a healthy brain, heart, and waistline with the right tea, how your tea color can color your health and tea tasting to discover the power behind each brew.

Wednesday, March 13, brings Life Extension’s Deborah Mayfield discussing blood and glucose testing from 9:30-10:30 a.m. The same day also features FREE Dip-Stick Urinalysis by appointment only, March 13 at 6:30 p.m. also includes Crystal A. Moore, M.S., C.N.S., N.F.P.T., presenting solutions to eating your way to healthier skin and including foods to choose, foods to lose and antioxidant-packed foods.

Thursday, March 14 at 6:30 Life Extension’s Judith Thompson, N.D. will lead the stress management forum. Live music by Tim Hicks, prize drawings and free exhibits will be offered.

Friday, March 15 at 6:30 p.m., Life Extension presents ballroom dance night with Crystal Moore, M.S., C.N.S., N.F.P.T and dance instructor Eddie Vega providing dance demos and lessons, plus a lecture on how you can dance yourself young. Gift certificates to the Goldcoast Ballroom are the featured prizes.

Saturday, March 16, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., offers an array of South Florida health services fitness organizations providing wellness information and demonstrations along with dietary supplement manufacturers presenting their latest products.

At 3:30 p.m., South Florida’s media doctor Michael Smith, M.D. will lead a panel discussion about The Art of healthy Living. A post-discussion prize drawing will follow.
