The TRAYMORE Gin Bar at Metropolitan by COMO Launches Happy Hour

Head bartender of The Traymore Gin Bar, Jack Araque, together with Executive Chef Jonathan Lane have created a unique food and beverage happy hour bar menu for locals, visitors and hotel guests to enjoy during any evening occasion with family, friends or to let off steam with co-workers after a hard day at the office.  Between the hours of 5:00pm and 7:00pmseven days a week, The Traymore Gin Bar now offers a number of drink specials that includes any Signature Cocktail for $10 eachSelect Wines by the glass for $8 and House Liquor for $8. Guests are able to enjoy The Traymore Gin Bar experience at Metropolitan by COMO within the Art Deco-inspired space of The Traymore Restaurant – designed and re-imagined by Italian designer Paola Navone. Introduced to the historic district of Miami Beach as the first of its kind, The Traymore Gin Bar offers a unique gin cocktail menu of seven innovative libations, developed by head bartender, Jack Araque, who has more than ten years of hospitality experience in New York and Miami, formerly of Four Seasons hotel. These cocktails have been carefully crafted using a combination from the bar’s eclectic collection of more than 40 domestic and international brands from around the world.  The Traymore Gin Bar’s signature cocktail menu offers the following.

“Traymore 1939” (Noilet’s Gin, Rosemary Syrup, Orange Curacao, Grapefruit, Pomegranate)
Singapore Sling” (Miami Style) (Gordon’s Gin, Bendictine, Cointreau, Cherry, Pineapple)
“Blood Orange Beluga” (Beluga Vodka, Aperol, Orange, Orange Bitters)
“Sleeping Volcano” (Jose Cuervo Tequila, Habanero, Syrup, Lime, Cucumber, Canton, Cilantro)
“Caipirinha by COMO” (Leblon Cashaca, Lime, Coconut Foam and a pinch of sugar for good luck!)
“Collins Park” (209 Gin, St. Germain, Lemon, Watermelon, Basil)
“Popcorn” (Maker’s Mark Bourbon, Frangelico, Creme de Cacao, Popcorn Syrup)

A special selection of domestic and imported beers and spirits are also available and discounted valet parking also applies for restaurant guests.  The Traymore operates a fully licensed bar until 2:00am on Friday and Saturday and until 1:00am Sunday through Thursday.
