Saks Fifth Avenue today announced the appointment of Ramona Messore as Vice President, General Manager, tasked with overseeing the new Saks location within the Brickell City Centre, Miami, FL. Messore, who joins Saks Brickell City Centre with more than 20 years’ experience in specialty retail, will manage the launch and day-to-day operations of the 107,000 square-foot retail destination, slated to open November 3, 2016. In conjunction with the appointment, Saks announced the opening of its dedicated Brickell City Centre recruitment center, which is currently accepting applications to fill approximately 140 full and part-time career opportunities at the location.

As an accomplished retail executive with experience in store management, merchandising and operations, Messore joins Saks Brickell City Centre after previously serving as the Assistant General Merchandising Manager at the Saks Bal Harbour location. Prior to joining Saks Bal Harbour in 2014, Messore held numerous retail management positions with increasing responsibility, including roles at Joseph Ribkoff, Essence du Papier, and Danier Leather.
Saks Brickell City Centre’s recruitment center is located at 799 Brickell Plaza, Suite 101, Miami, FL 33131, and is currently searching for exceptional individuals to represent the Saks brand as it expands into the downtown Brickell, Miami area. Approximately 140 full and part-time positions are available for selling managers and support managers, as well as sales and support staff in all departments, including men’s and women’s ready-to-wear, jewelry, shoes, cosmetics, personal shopping, visual merchandising, visual stylists, alterations, and asset protection.
