Musimelange Presents: Scent of a Woman

unnamed-183March 7

Musimelange invites you to celebrate women through music, food, and wine at the elegant M Building located in the Wynwood Arts District.

Founded in Miami in 2010, Musimelange is a true concert experience that awakens all your senses by pairing chamber music with gastronomy and wine tastings, all in the comfort of a living room within an art gallery. It continues the tradition of the salons from the Belle Epoque, where important public figures, artists, writers, and musicians were introduce to their friends in hopes of inspiring a flow of ideas and creativity for an enriched life. Riviera Focacceria Itialiana will be preparing savory Ligurian delicacies to start off the evening, paired with wines from Barton and Gustier. Guests will be seated as live jazz carries them through the evening, and it will end on a sweet note with decadent desserts from Riviera Focacceria Italiana.

Act 1. Chef Riccardo from Riviera Focacceria Italiana will serve his famous Focaccia di Reccho, a dish that can only be enjoyed at a handful of restaurants nationwide; homemade Gnocchi with Pesto, using the original recipe from the source; and bites of freshly prepared Polpo Riviera to satisfy your palate. All bites will be paired with a fine selection of wines from Barton and Guestier.

Act 2. For the first time at Musimelange you’ll discover Jazz in a rare form. Naples Symphony’s concertmaster, Glenn Basham, guitarist Randall Dollahon, and bassist Jamie Ousley join forces to create a formidable and energetic string sound featuring daring improvisations on familiar standards as well as original composition.

Act 3. The artists will join the guests as they all enjoy a sweet selection presented by Riviera Focacceria Italiana. Sinfully delicious creations by Chef Riccardo Vinci include their notoriously unrivaled Panna Cotta and exceptionally unique Pistachio Mousse.

Tickets are $55 online and $65 at the door.
