Sunrise Sports and Entertainment announced today that Australian-based worship group Hillsong UNITED, will bring their Empires Tour to North America February 2016 with special guests Rend Collective. The 11-city tour kicks off in Sunrise, Fla. on February 11, with stops across the county before wrapping in Honolulu, Hawaii.

“We haven’t really done our own thing in the USA since WelcomeZion 2013, so we are super excited to be bringing the EMPIRES tour to the states,” said Joel Houston of Hillsong UNITED. “We write songs to be sung with people – they are always for the people – so when we get to sing these songs with people on the road, it is the purpose of why we do what we do! We can’t wait to worship with people singing all the new EMPIRES songs as well as everyone’s favorites.”
The Australian-based UNITED has a long history of sold-out shows in the United States. During their 2013 “WELCOMEZION” Tour, they surpassed 15,000 in attendance at the famed Hollywood Bowl in Los Angeles and brought their tour to a sold-out audience at Red Rocks in Denver. The tour was one of the top attended Christian tours of 2013 with nearly 80,000 people in attendance. The touring entity of UNITED has made a huge wave in the States as they became the first Christian artist to ever sell out Los Angeles’ Staples Center. Since 2006, UNITED has toured six continents and 42 nations.
