The Greater Fort Lauderdale Convention & Visitors Bureau concluded the first day of its two-dayLauderdale LUXE Experience in New York today, drawing shoppers to a lavish beach oasis at The Shops at Columbus Circle to indulge in massages, makeovers, giveaways and special offers, designed to showcase the destination’s vast luxury offerings, from hotels to fashion to spas. The day kicked off with a 12:30 pm fashion runway show, hosted by style expert, tastemaker, TV host, and founder of The LV Guide, Lilliana Vazquez, featuring the hottest summer style trends in beachwear, jewelry, accessories and luggage.
The excitement continues tomorrow, Saturday March 19 from 11:00 am to 7:00 pm, when Greater Fort Lauderdale returns with instant makeovers, complimentary massages and the opportunity to transport shoppers to the beach through an interactive augmented reality experience. Visitors can also enter to win a grand prize of a VIP Fort Lauderdale Beach Vacation and a seven-day Celebrity Cruise, provided by Celebrity Cruises. Additionally, popular CBS Radio personalities Trey Morgan and Ghia from the “Trey and Ghia Show” will make an appearance at The Shops at Columbus Circle for photo opportunities with their fans.
Runway shows will take place tomorrow at 12:00 pm, 1:30 pm, 3:30 pm and 5:00 pm. Visitors can enjoy the latest collections, special tips, gifts and discounts from Whole Foods, Sugarfina, Tumi, Cole Haan, Montmartre, Bebe, Lucky Brand, Robert Graham, Satya Jewelers, Aveda, Diptyque, Jo Malone, and more from The Shops at Columbus Circle.
