The University of Miami is proud to host a Community Town Hall Meeting featuring Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Admiral Mike Mullen on Tuesday, September 13th from 9:30-11 AM at the UM BankUnited Center’s Fieldhouse (1245 Dauer Drive, Coral Gables).
The top military adviser to the President of the United States will be visiting UM’s Coral Gables campus where he will discuss issues affecting veterans and their families. The meeting will focus on efforts to create broad-based support for integrating returning veterans into the community and region.
The Town Hall Meeting will include a panel discussion with Karen Aguirre, the spouse of a deployed soldier; Jason Recio, a wounded warrior; and Harry Zayas, an Army reservist. It will be moderated by NBC-6 anchor and reporter Willard Shepard.
