Multi-platinum iconic bands America and Three Dog Night come to Hard Rock Live at Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Hollywood, Fla. on Saturday, Feb. 18, at 8 p.m. Tickets go on sale Friday, Oct. 28 at 10 a.m. Fans will have access to presale tickets beginning Thursday, Oct. 27 at 10 a.m. through Seminole Hard Rock Hollywood’s Facebook and Twitter pages.

The year 2017 marks the 47th Anniversary of perennial classic-rock favorite, America. Their best-known tunes, including “A Horse With No Name,” “I Need You,” “Ventura Highway,” “Don’t Cross The River,” “Tin Man,” “Lonely People” and “Sister Golden Hair” were cornerstones of 1970s Top 40 and FM rock radio.

Band members Gerry Beckley and Dewey Bunnell carried on as a duo in the mid-70s. Shifts in sound and direction, changes in producers and managers, and a renewed dedication to the craft of songwriting helped rocket America to the upper reaches of the pop charts in 1982 with their smash single, “You Can Do Magic.”

Their growth as singers, songwriters and musicians has continued into the present day as illustrated by landmark releases, such as 2000’s “Highway” 3-disc box set, 2002’s “Holiday Harmony,” an album comprised of seasonal classics and live showcases, 2007’s “Here & Now,” 2009’s “Live In Concert: Wildwood Springs” and 2011’s “Back Pages.”

Gerry and Dewey are joined on stage by Rich Campbell, who toured and recorded with Natalie Cole, Dave Mason, Chuck Negron and Edgar Winter; drummer Ryland Steen from ska band Reel Big Fish, and lead guitarist Andy Barr from Cobra Starship.

Boasting chart and sales records that are virtually unmatched in popular music, Three Dog Night had 21 consecutive Top 40 hits, including three No.1 singles, 11 Top 10’s, 18 straight Top 20’s and 12 straight RIAA Certified Gold LPs.

Three Dog Night hits continue to wind through the fabric of pop culture today, whether on the

radio, in TV commercials or in major motion pictures – songs like “Mama Told Me (Not To Come),” “Joy to the World,” “Shambala,” “Celebrate,” “Black and White” and “One” serve to heighten fans’ emotions and crystallize Three Dog Night’s continuing popularity. The band’s now-famous name refers to native Australian hunters in the outback who huddled with their dogs for warmth on cold nights; the coldest being a “Three Dog Night.”

Now in their 5th decade, Three Dog Night maintains an aggressive touring schedule of more than 70 dates a year. Their well-loved hits are performed for audiences spanning generations by founding member Danny Hutton on lead vocals, as well as original band member and guitarist Michael Allsup, Paul Kingery (bass and vocals), Pat Bautz (drums), Eddie Reasoner (keyboards) and David Morgan (vocalist) complete the lineup.
