James Beard Award-winning Chef Tyson Cole is bringing a third Miami concept to Brickell. Uchibā — simply translated as 'Uchi Bar' — is the izakaya-inspired bar and eatery from Hai Hospitality, opening this winter in Mary Brickell Village at 900 S. Miami Ave., Space 185.

The 3,500-square-foot space draws on the atmosphere of Japanese alley bars and vintage Miami: moody lighting, warm woods, rich velvets. The menu covers craft cocktails, premium Japanese whisky, yakitori, buns and bao, nigiri, sashimi, Uchi classics, and seasonal specials. A prix-fixe lunch menu rounds out the program.

Uchibā joins Uchi Wynwood and Uchiko Miami Beach as Cole's third Miami venue. Ahead of the opening, Uchi and Uchiko plan to host preview happy hours introducing guests to the new concept. Uchibā opens winter 2026 at Mary Brickell Village.
