Part of our ongoing curation of what it means to live, love, and play in the Magic City.

On Sunday, November 15, from 11:15 AM to 2 PM, Elevate Cities invites neighbors of all faiths and backgrounds to Unity on the Bay at Temple Israel for an afternoon of connection, conversation, and community.

The format is designed to move people out of their familiar circles. Guests arrive to a welcoming reception with appetizers, intentional introductions, and a creative opening activity. An interfaith service brings together voices and traditions from participating faith communities, inviting reflection on both shared values and the distinct cultural expressions within religions.

Participants then move into a shared meal, seated to encourage connections beyond their familiar circles. Facilitators trained by Dr. Justin Penn guide conversations built on personal stories, thoughtful questions, and exploration of religious and cultural differences.

The gathering is designed to be conversational and participatory. Come ready to engage.

November 15, 11:15 AM–2 PM. Unity on the Bay at Temple Israel, 137 NE 19th St, Miami. Register at bit.ly/interfaithpotluck2026.
