Lincoln Road Goes All Out for Halloween: Block Party on October 31
Lincoln Road closes out October with its annual Halloween Block Party on October 31 — costumes, live entertainment, trick-or-treating, and the full South Beach Halloween experience on Miami Beach's most iconic pedestrian promenade.
Part of our ongoing curation of what it means to live, love, and play in the Magic City.
This Weekend's Geography
1 neighborhoodIf there is one place in South Florida that knows how to do Halloween, it is Lincoln Road. The annual Lincoln Road Halloween Block Party turns the entire pedestrian mall into a full-scale Halloween celebration on Saturday, October 31 — costumes, live entertainment, street performers, and the kind of crowd energy that only happens when an entire neighborhood decides to go all in on the same night.
Years of tradition have raised the costume bar on Lincoln Road. This is not a casual Halloween crowd.
The Block Party brings together everything that makes Lincoln Road special and turns the dial up for Halloween. The pedestrian mall — already one of the best people-watching corridors in Miami Beach — becomes a moving costume parade, a street fair, and a neighborhood block party simultaneously. Restaurants and bars along the strip extend onto the sidewalk. Street performers work the crowd. The whole thing has the energy of a city that genuinely enjoys the holiday.
The costume game on Lincoln Road on Halloween is genuinely impressive. Years of tradition have raised the bar — you will see elaborate group costumes, creative solo builds, and the occasional outfit that stops foot traffic entirely. Coming in costume is not required, but it is strongly encouraged. The crowd rewards the effort.
