Pinecrest Gardens welcomes "The Glamour Girl of Jazz" Allyson Briggs and bandleader Dan Gabel to the Banyan Bowl — the Gardens' open-air amphitheater — for America: Together in Harmony on Saturday, November 7 at 8 PM.

The evening features Great American Songbook standards and golden-era swing. Briggs, who sings in as many as seven languages and has performed at Carnegie Hall and Jazz at Lincoln Center, joins The Dan Gabel Big Band for a night of classic big band sound in one of South Florida's most unique outdoor venues.

The Banyan Bowl

The Banyan Bowl at Pinecrest Gardens is one of the best outdoor concert venues in South Florida — intimate enough to feel personal, large enough to accommodate a full big band, and surrounded by the botanical gardens' 14 acres of tropical landscape. The November timing means the weather is ideal: cool enough for an evening outdoors, warm enough that the experience feels like Miami.

Pinecrest Gardens is at 11000 Red Road, Pinecrest. Tickets at pinecrestgardens.org.
