The exhibition reveals a city shaped by constant transformation, rich cultural exchange, and deeply personal narratives. The photographers represented in the show have spent years documenting Miami from the inside — not the postcard version, but the lived city.
Beyond the Studio: Public Art in Practice
The show also features Beyond the Studio: Public Art in Practice, spotlighting South Florida artists from the Public Art Mentoring and Exhibition Program. The dual focus — documentary photography alongside public art practice — gives the exhibition a breadth that makes it worth multiple visits over the three-month run.
