Happy Together Tour at the Seminole Hard Rock and Casino Hollywood, Florida

“Happy Together,” a 25th anniversary tour starring The Turtles Featuring Flo & Eddie, The Grassroots Featuring Rob Grill, The Monkees’ Micky Dolenz, The Buckinghams and Mark Lindsay, Formerly of Paul Revere & The Raiders brought peace and love to Hard Rock Live at the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino on July 29, 2010.

The groups entertained an audience of the aging rocker from the 60’s. A period of revolutionary music and an era that will never be replicated. The groups that performed, and the fans helped to mold this unforgettable period.

The concert had an interesting mix of artist with the Monkees’ prancing on The Turtles’ back to Mark Lindsay, the playboy. Each artist played a careful selection of 6 songs, just enough to wet the appetite and to keep the crowd engaged.

Mark Lindsay, a 60’s rebel was quite exciting to watch. He came on stage dressed in revolutionary garbs like he did back then. He was cross between Steven Tyler and Mick Jagger. Dave Barry also joined him on stage to perform “Just Like Me.” It appeared as though Barry belongs with the band.

The Monkees performance was the highlight of the night. Like the animal, Micky Dolenz’s personality came to full light. To join the theatrics, Mark Lindsay joined Mickey on stage to perform the “Not Your Stepping Stone” song which was well received by the audience.

Spread the love!
