This past week was the official introduction of Dolcevita Cashmere to the American market on the runways of Miami Fashion Week. With an overwhelming response to the reinvention of luxurious cashmere, Veronica Zorzi has created a new collection that won the 2013 “Pret a Porter Style Award” at Miami Fashion Week.
Throughout history Cashmere has been venerated as one of the most luxurious fibers in the world but has been neglected in the fashion world and reserved for coats, sweaters and scarves. Veronica Zorzi has a new vision and Dolcevita has new blends that demands the attention of the fashion world as it shows us just how far they can take Cashmere.
Dolcevita has been creating luxury for the past 7 years and recently opened in Miami in 2012. “I created Dolcevita seven years ago because cashmere was my passion since I was a young girl and my goal has always been to bring cashmere into the spotlight of High Fashion. Being born in Ethiopia, Africa, 42 years ago, the spirit, the people, the nature and most of all, the colors of this wild and powerful land became part of Veronica’s everyday life. Even after moving to Italy, several years later, Veronica’s passion for colors kept on thriving and evolving into her own soul.
