Celebrating the 50th anniversary of independence for both Trinidad & Tobago and Jamaica this summer at Hollywood ArtsPark Experience:  Colors of the Caribbean!  Come enjoy a free concert in the beautiful park with Trinidad’s king of soca David Rudder, AND the queen of reggae, Marcia Griffiths!  The park will also be filled with other Caribbean delights – a percussion tassa ensemble, Outer Limits band, delicious food from jerk to curry and beyond, a sampling of the best beverages from the region, fun activities for kids, and much more.  Celebrity MCs will even lead a quick electric slide dance lesson.

 

The free show takes place in the newly renovated Hollywood ArtsPark.  This lovely centerpiece to downtown Hollywood now features a full amphitheater for concerts, playgrounds for children and spacious promenades.  You are welcome to bring a lawn chair or blanket for the concert.
