Trudon , the prestigious French candlemaker and perfumer, unveils their 2020 holiday collection with a festive range of four classic Trudon scents and new exclusive, Gloria.

This season, Trudon travels to the alleys of a Morrocan Enchanted Souk for their annual holiday offering. Reminiscent of warm hanging lights, colorful molten glass and golden-coppery accessories, the collection is inspired by Marrakesh and its mesmerizing visions and scents.

Like precious Moroccan lanterns, each vessel is handcrafted with care and decorated with gold foil “leaves”. In a wide range of colors, they vibrate with light: amber for Abd El Kader, anthracite for Ernesto, sapphire blue for Fir, emerald green for Gabriel and ruby red for Gloria. The evocative perfumes display Moroccan mint-tea, a veil of incense, the sweetness of orange blossoms and a handful of powerful spices – nutmeg, cinnamon, cardamom and clove. With Enchanted Souk, a sensorial feast awaits.

Celebrating this luminous momentum, Trudon introduces Gloria as a new exclusive for holiday 2020. The scent warms the room with the scent of firewood and is composed of notes of Indonesian Patchouli, Haitian Vetiver and cedarwood. Wrapped around it are spicy notes of cinnamon, clove and nutmeg, and a hint of citruses (Italian lemon and orange from Brazil).

Head Notes Russian Coriander, Guatemalan Cardamom, Encens, Brazilian Orange
Heart Notes Java Nutmeg, Clove Leaf, Cinnamon from China
Base Notes Cedar, Indonesian Patchouli, Vetiver from Haiti, Amber

“The holiday season brings us the opportunity to convey our passion for storytelling and perfumery, with each year being different. This season, we are thrilled to bring Trudon fans festive versions of four of our most classic scents, while also introducing newcomer Gloria – all available in handmade, one-of-a-kind vessels and refined collectibles to aid in celebrations.” – Julien Pruvost, Creative Director

A staple element of the Trudon experience, each brick red box is finely crafted and sees golden illustrations from artist and longtime collaborator Lawrence Mynott with an incense burner, a Fez hat, babouche slippers, a hammered tray and a pair of earrings all dancing along the surface. On a few sides, an architecture detail brings an ancient Moroccan wall or the decorative elegance of a mosque to life. Brought together, these symbols celebrate the magic of an enchanting holiday.

The Enchanted Souk collection will be available online, in Trudon ’s New York flagship store and in select retailers nationwide October 15th. Each scent is available in 3 sizes (classic, intermezzo, great) with pricing ranging from $125 – $620.

Spread the love!
