Fred Durst and the boys kick off their new tour at Revolution Live in support of their latest studio album: Stampede of the Disco Elephants. Durst wanted Limp Bizkit to be a “megaband” which could cross over into as many different styles of music as possible. Limp Bizkit’s music has predominately been described as Nu metal or rap metal and is noted for its “kinetic, frenzied energy”. Their work is marked by Durst’s abrasive, angry lyrics and elaborate visual appearances, which includes face and body paint, masks and uniforms, as well as the band’s energetic live shows. The band has been nominated for 3 Grammy Awards and has sold over 35 million records worldwide.
