Formula 1® (F1) is gearing up to host its biggest event of the year, the F1 Accelerate Summit, in partnership with Custom Events from WSJ, a unit of Dow Jones. The exclusive invitation-only event will take place on May 4, 2023, kicking off one of F1’s flagship race weekends.
The summit will bring together some of the most influential trailblazers from the worlds of sports, entertainment, and business. The star-studded line-up includes seven-time F1 World Champion Sir Lewis Hamilton, the Top Gun: Maverick duo Jerry Bruckheimer and Joseph Kosinski, and five-time grand slam tennis champion Maria Sharapova, among others.
The conversations at the summit will cover a range of topics, including how women players are taking leading roles across the sports industry, achieving peak performance, building a legacy, and female storytelling in inspiring the next generation of athletes and leaders.
The event will also provide unique insights into what fans can expect next from F1, with Gregory B. Maffei, President, and CEO of Liberty Media, and Formula 1 President and CEO Stefano Domenicali sharing their vision for the future.
