After a Summer of smoldering festival sets including Camp Bisco, Amberland and Blackwater, Oxford Mississippi’s Zoogma is ready to bring their brand of electric fusion to the Culture Room. A blend of Electronica, Rock, Jazz, World and Hip-Hop, Zoogma is a musical experience that appeals to a range of audiences with a sound that is all their own yet steeped in the dance music tradition. Joining them is Miami’s SOUNDUO, a musical collaboration between producers/musicians Will Mills and Zach Morillo. SOUNDUO has showcased their abilities in the studio and during live performances, opening for such artists as Big Gigantic and Elliot Lipp and playing major music festivals including Ultra 2011 and Blackwater. They’ve remixed Conspirator and Afrobeta (released by Ultra Records), and independently released their first EP, “Future Dub is my Hobby” for free online.

Zoogma combine the sonic diversity and precision of a DJ with the excitement and immediacy of a five-piece rock group. Known for their energetic performances and retina pleasing light show, the band consistently dishes out heavy-weight beat-driven dance parties across the nation. Sets are kinetic, combining live improvisation with carefully crafted beats and melodic textures. Evolving from Oxford, Mississippi, Zoogma’s sound is an eclectic fusion of Electronica, Rock, Jazz, World and Hip-Hop. SOUNDUO is a musical collaboration between Miami-based producers and musicians Will Mills and Zach Morillo. It is a blend of bass heavy musical genres, sample-based electronic hip-hop, dubstep and traditional dub stylings. Acting as sidemen/engineers to numerous local acts and nationally-recognized artists has led Zach and Will to regional and national exposure as part of the local music scene.
