The DWNTWN Miami Concert Series is back every second Friday of the month October through April (expect March). The series features a free concert open to the public at Bayfront Park’s Tina Hills Pavilion.

 

WHAT:            Join the Miami Downtown Development Authority this Friday for the best happy hour in town, as it kicks-off its annual DWNTWN Concert Series with Surfer Blood, Spam Allstars & Ketchy Shuby. ALPHABITE Food Truck will be on-site and food and drinks will be available. Concert-goers are also welcome to bring their own blankets, food and drinks.

 

WHO:              Ketchy Shuby brings their special brand of Soul downtown and the Spam Allstars break it down with their electronic descarga – witness a true Miami blend of electronic improv, Latin, funk and hip hop. West Palm’s Surfer Blood closes the show with their explosive, life-affirming indie pop sound. Don’t miss them performing their catchy summery songs that will surely keep you on your feet.

 

WHEN:            Every second Friday of the month @ 6:00pm (OCT through APR, expect MAR)

Presented by the Miami DDA, additional sponsors include the Intercontinental Hotel Miami, Miami Children’s Museum and Miami New Times others involved include Embrace Events and Big Brothers Big Sisters. This season the Miami DDA has partnered up with Big Brothers Big Sisters for the Just Volunteer Miami initiative – a campaign to encourage volunteerism in Miami. The DWNTWN Concert Series is free to the public and held on the second Friday of every month during sunset happy hour. Food and drinks are available.
