Words of Freedom: A Tribute to National Poetry Month on April 5

The Heritage Project
Words of Freedom
A Tribute to National Poetry Month
April 5 at 7 p.m.
Peacock Foundation Studio | Free First-Access Passes*

Highlighting the continuum of wordsmiths lending their voices and pens to the movement for Black diasporic freedom, this discussion will focus on the spoken and written word. Local poets, writers and educators will discuss their perspectives on freedom and what it means to them.
The free Heritage Project series was created with the spirit of a modern-day Harlem Renaissance salon. Join us on April 5 to discover, listen to and engage in essential discussions surrounding art and social justice in the Black community.
Admission to Words of Freedom is free. However, first-access passes are required. Get your first-access passes now!
