WHO: UnotheActivist
WHAT: Atlanta-based rapper UnotheActivist began rapping by the time he was in high school. Early musical projects included a group called TFZ, which included his cousin Playboi Carti. After a short-lived stint at college, Uno dedicated himself completely to music, releasing his first mixtape, No More Thotties, and gaining traction with his song “Parkin’ Lot Pimping.” He followed up with the Gift of Gab mixtape and also drew attention with his guest spot on Playboi Carti’s single “What.” Constant shows and studio collaborations followed. Uno released his much-anticipated Live.Shyne.Die mixtape, which featured production from Lutim and Peyote, as well as features from Famous Dex, YSL Duke, and many others. Limbus, Pt. 2 followed and another sequel, this time a second volume of his collaboration with Thouxanbanfauni called For Christ Sake 2. UnotheActivist’s proper album debut, 8, arrived in 2020 followed by Limbus Vol. 3, released in 2022.
