Thursdays at PAMM: Pride Night with Ballyhoo Media and OUTshine Festival Supported by Greater Miami Convention & Visitors Bureau

June 8
5–9pm

Miami’s Perez Art Museum (PAMM) is set to kick off National Pride Month with a lively celebration on June 8 from 5-9pm. The event will feature a 60-foot floating screen provided by Ballyhoo Media for a special Pride film selection, as well as live music by Sayje and Raia, happy hour drinks and specials at Verde, and tables hosted by LGBTQIA+ community organizations.

In addition to the film screening, PAMM will also offer special Pride tours in the galleries at 6pm & 7pm. But the evening’s highlight may very well be two engaging panels featuring some of Miami’s most prominent queer figures.

The second panel titled, “Fighting For Our Art: How Drag Performers are Breaking Down Barriers in the Face of Discrimination,” will discuss recent bans and discriminatory legislation being introduced in Florida and across the country. Moderated by Regina Cocoa, the panel will include Athena Dion, Kat Wilderness, King Femme, Lady Paraiso, and Opal Am Rah.

This special pride event at PAMM is free with RSVP, and seating for the panels will be available on a first-come, first-served basis. Attendees should be 18 years or older to attend. Come out and celebrate Miami’s vibrant LGBTQIA+ community!

Programming on the terrace is free with RSVP.
Admission to the galleries can be purchased at the Visitor Services Desk or online.
