Pride Art Tours

Pride Art Tours
Thursdays at 6pm and Saturdays at 3pm

Are you looking for a way to celebrate Pride and immerse yourself in the vibrant LGBTQIA+ community of Miami? Look no further than the Perez Art Museum Miami (PAMM), which is hosting a variety of exciting events this month.

On June 1st, PAMM will be screening the award-winning documentary “Paris is Burning,” followed by two panels featuring some of Miami’s most prominent queer figures. The second panel, titled “Fighting For Our Art: How Drag Performers are Breaking Down Barriers in the Face of Discrimination,” will address recent bans and discriminatory legislation being introduced in Florida and across the country. This event is free with RSVP and open to those 18 years and older.

In addition to these exciting events, PAMM is also offering Pride-focused tours of its permanent collection, special exhibitions, sculptures, and architectural elements every Thursday at 6pm and Saturdays at 3pm. These tours feature works by a variety of LGBTQIA+ artists, including Carlos Alfonzo, Deborah Kass, and Kehinde Wiley, and are included with museum admission.

Whether you’re an art lover, a member of the LGBTQIA+ community, or simply looking for a way to celebrate Pride, PAMM has something for everyone this month. So come out and join us in celebrating Miami’s vibrant and diverse community!
