Last Saturday, Susan G. Komen For the Cure teamed up with the Miami Heat (who won against the Atlanta Hawks) to host their 2nd annual “The Pink is on”, a fun-filled night of celebration, breast cancer survivorship and exciting basketball. During the event about 15 breast cancer survivors stood before the crowd of basketball fans to promote breast cancer awareness. The Heat cheerleaders also participated by wearing a Susan G. Komen For The Cure t-shirts and tossing some shirts into the crowd.
