The Latin Recording Academy® has proudly announced that visual artist Aline Bispo has been chosen as the official artist for the highly anticipated 24th Annual Latin GRAMMY Awards®. Bispo’s artwork, created with a definitive creative vision, captures the essence of her culture and showcases the beauty of Brazil through vibrant colors and striking imagery.

Through her artwork, Bispo skillfully combines female figures, elements of nature, and symbols representing her homeland of Brazil. The resulting mosaic, crafted using the graphite technique and then digitized, portrays the rich tapestry of Latin American culture. Her creation took just two weeks to complete and is infused with passion and love.

“This art for the Latin GRAMMYs was conceived and produced with a lot of love,” Bispo expressed. “Just as music conveys many feelings, I would like for people to feel that from the elements in my work. It’s a work that stimulates people in the same way music does.”

Aline Bispo, born in São Paulo, is a multi-talented visual artist, illustrator, and curator known for her unique style. Her illustrations often intertwine religious icons, elements of nature, and political symbols, creating thought-provoking compositions. Bispo’s creations showcase her masterful brushstrokes and use of color, bringing Brazilian cultural imagery to life.

Manuel Abud, CEO of The Latin Recording Academy, expressed his gratitude to Bispo for the invaluable contribution she has made. “Aline is a passionate and gifted artist whose murals beautify cities in her native Brazil, reminding us that music and visual arts lift spirits, crossing cultures and frontiers. We are deeply grateful to her for this invaluable contribution to The Latin Academy,” Abud said.

The 24th Annual Latin GRAMMY Awards will be held at the Conference and Exhibition Centre (FIBES) in Sevilla, Spain, on Thursday, November 16, 2023. The ceremony will be broadcast on Univision, UniMás, and Galavisión in the U.S., as well as on Radio Televisión Española (RTVE) in Spain. Further international broadcasting partners will be announced in due course.

Since 2001, The Latin Recording Academy has partnered with a Spanish or Portuguese language-speaking visual artist to bridge the gap between music and visual art, highlighting the significance of music in Latin culture. Aline Bispo becomes the 24th visual artist to contribute to this long-standing tradition, joining the ranks of internationally acclaimed artists. Please note that the use of Aline Bispo’s artwork for the 24th Annual Latin GRAMMY Awards requires express written permission from The Latin Recording Academy.
