WHO: THURSDAY
WHAT: Thursday are a band from New Brunswick, New Jersey. Formed in 1998 and with world-wide album sales in the millions, the band has released six critically acclaimed albums. Their September 2003 Island Def Jam record War All The Time is considered one of the pivotal and most influential post-hardcore albums of all time. After a monumental 2022 that saw Thursday play main support to My Chemical Romance in sold out arenas and embarking on their own 45 date sold out club and theatre tour 2023 was supposed to be a year of rest for post-hardcore architects. Despite all this, the individual members put out solo efforts and combined on other projecfts, 2023 a;so saw the band play select dates. After the immense success of the 20th birthday party for their War All The Time record at Starland Ballroom, where they played the album in full, it was apparent theyneeded to do more.
