The 18th Annual Miami Beach Antique Jewelry & Watch Show Attracted International Buyers and Spectacular Antique Collections from all Over the World

Annual Miami Beach Antique Jewelry & Watch Show, October 15-17, 2010 at the Miami Beach Convention Center. The show, which has been held in Miami Beach for 18 successive years, has become known for its spectacular antique, vintage and estate jewelry and watch collections, and is considered a must attend show for many of its exhibiting dealers.US Antique Shows reported increased attendance, from local and international collectors alike, at the Annual Miami Beach Antique Jewelry & Watch Show, October 15-17, 2010 at the Miami Beach Convention Center. The show, which has been held in Miami Beach for 18 successive years, has become known for its spectacular antique, vintage and estate jewelry and watch collections, and is considered a must attend show for many of its exhibiting dealers.

More than 125 dealers came from all over the world to showcase their unique pieces, some as far as Europe and Asia. Attendees, including many international and local collectors, celebrities and socialites had the opportunity to view and purchase spectacular brooches, cameos, earrings, necklaces rare jewels and gemstones, unique signed designer pieces, as well as exquisite timepieces.

“In spite of the economy, we were delighted to see a 10% spike in attendance this year over last year,” remarked Andrea Canady, fair director for US Antique Show’s The Miami Beach Antique Jewelry & Watch Show.

The show got great reviews from some of its dealers on the last day:

Christine Savoie of Christine Savoie said: “The Miami Beach Antique Jewelry and Watch Show’s timing makes it a good show for the holiday buyer. It’s a kick-off event for the high season in October. As an exhibitor, it’s worth saving our best pieces to bring to this show.”

Danny Sanchez, Manager for Excalibur, pointed out: “This show gives us an optimistic outlook for the year. It was a lot busier. Both dealers and the public came out to buy. Sales are up. We try to come with a variety of items so that everyone can find something.”

Sandy Steinberg from Owl’s Roost Antiques said: “The show is great to renew old relationships with clients from previous years, as well as meet new and wonderful clients. The Miami Beach Antique Jewelry and Watch Show represents the beginning of the anticipated season. This year’s show has exceeded my expectations. We are pleased to say that we’ve surpassed our sales from last year. This show gives us the opportunity to both buy and sell while showcasing our new inventory. It’s a great opportunity to refresh inventory from all over the world and attendees come with these expectations.”

The next show on the calendar for US Antique Shows is the 50th Anniversary of The Original Miami Beach Antique Show, the largest indoor antique show in the world. Many celebrations are being planned to commemorate its 50th Anniversary so it is a not to be missed event. The show is scheduled for February 3-7, 2011, at the Miami Beach Convention Center in Miami Beach, Fla.
