On June 27^th , guests of STEAK 954 will celebrate the first War of the Wines dinner series of 2013 with an Old World vs. New World battle!  Guests will toast to the beginning of summer by battling Washington vs. California wines as they indulge in a perfectly paired plate by Chef Jason Landon Smith, truly testing the theory “out with the old and in with the new”. The five course meal includes Duck slider with Florida Peaches on Potato Roll, Seared Day Boat Scallop with Charred Lemon Relish, Red Quinoa, Soft Herbs, Smoked Lamb Tenderloin, Cherry Chutney, Sweet Corn and Fennel Has, and Chocolate Crepe Purse, Local Organic Black Raspberries, Lavender and Bittersweet Chocolate Custard. STEAK 954 will present one wine from each state with each course, leaving the guest to decide which pleases their palate the most!
