Like a rising Phoenix, Native American Rock Music Pioneer Lee Tiger has emerged upon the music scene again in a big way with a brand new album of original music, “New Era.” Boasting a new 21st Century sound yet still filled with the classic rock sensibilities that have been the signature of his career, “New Era” opens another chapter in the historic Tiger Tiger legacy.
Lee Tiger and the Tiger Tiger Band will host a CD Release Party on Saturday, June 15th / 7:30PM at The Green Room located next to Revolution Live at 109 SW 2nd Ave., Fort Lauderdale. The event features a live performance by the band which consists of: Lee Tiger (vocals and guitar), Jon Gabriel (Bass), Raiford Stark (Guitar), and John Morello (Drums), as well as door prizes and other giveaways. Admission is complimentary and the first ten guests will receive a free “New Era”CD.
With “New Era,” (on TTM Records) Lee Tiger resurrects the legend of Tiger Tiger, one of the most significant and prolific bands in the Native American Rock Music movement. Reaching a globally recognized status, Lee was forced to reevaluate the bands future following the untimely death of his brother and bandmate Stephen. He eventually decided to move the band forward and spent years crafting the songs that make up the “New Era” album.
The eight song “New Era” CD showcases a newer more evolved musical sound combined with a raw Native American emotion that has always characterized Lee’s music. From the Power driven opener “Red Rocks The Earth,” an anthem for Native Americans everywhere as well as honoring the Seminole Tribe for their acquisition of the Hard Rock Empire, to the closing love song “Yovanna Yovanna” the musical spirit of the album takes you on a magical journey of life and love as only Lee and Tiger Tiger can do. His passion for music, the pursuit of happiness and the joy of sharing his music with all are the driving forces in his life.
The “New Era” CD Release Party will take place on Saturday, June 15th / 7:30PM at The Green Room located next to Revolution Live at 109 SW 2nd Ave., Fort Lauderdale. Lee Tiger and the Tiger Tiger Band will perform a full set of music from the album. Admission is complimentary and the first 10 guests will receive a free CD.
