South Florida Motorsports (SFM), the organizers behind the FORMULA 1 CRYPTO.COM MIAMI GRAND PRIX, announced the launch of four new track configurations at the Miami International Autodrome, enhancing its capacity for year-round motorsports activities.
These developments bring the total to five complete track layouts, enabling the facility to host various competitive events and corporate gatherings without impacting local traffic or infrastructure. The new “inner loop” tracks are entirely built on private property, ensuring minimal disruption to the surrounding community.
“This is an exciting time to be a motorsports enthusiast here in South Florida,” said Tom Garfinkel, SFM’s Managing Partner. “Our investments into the facility allow us to better engage with the growing motorsports community while respecting the impact on local residents.”
Among the upcoming highlights, the 2025 edition of Ferrari Racing Days is scheduled for May 14-18, 2025, on the Extended Marina Loop layout, following the FORMULA 1 event taking place from May 2-4 of the same year. This prestigious event will feature multiple racing categories, including the Ferrari Challenge Trofeo Pirelli.
The newly constructed track includes sections built after Turn 10 and two hairpin turns, resulting in five operational configurations: the 19-turn Grand Prix circuit, the 19-turn Extended Marina Loop, the 18-turn Marina Loop, the 13-turn Extended MIA Loop, and the 14-turn MIA Loop. The Autodrome will begin hosting corporate and private events starting in October 2024, further solidifying its status as a premier destination for motorsports in South Florida.
