Don’t miss the next Friends of NWS event on Saturday, November 19. Start off the evening at the New World Center with “Romeos and Juliets” – a full symphony orchestra concert, featuring works by Bernstein, Prokofiev and Tchaikovsky, all inspired by Shakespeare’s famed “star-crossed lovers”.
Following the performance, we will head down to the chic Marlin Hotel for Symphony After Hours, starting at 9:00pm. The highlight of the event will be a live performance by Tango Conspiracy, an electrifying blend of tango, acid jazz, dub and bossa nova. Producer/ Composer Jimena Fama will be singing these sultry songs and will be joined by her band comprised of guitars, accordion, drums, bass and a DJ.
In addition to a musical show, guests will enjoy delicious cuisine, GREY GOOSE vodka cocktails, VOGA Italia wine and FUZE non-alcoholic drinks.
** Concert tickets at the New World Center are SOLD OUT but there are still a limited number for new VIP Friends members. Friends membership for a year starts as low as $200 and includes more than 8 evenings of live music. After Hours tickets for the Marlin Hotel portion of the night are available for sale for $40 each and include an open bar, light bites and the exciting performance by the Tango Conspiracy.
