On Miami’s illustrious beach at 7th Street and Ocean Drive, over 3,000 people will simultaneously mix signature Cointreau cocktails using custom orange mini- shakers. This highly anticipated event marks the largest “Shake-Fest” in Cointreau history.
With DJ Nino announcing the start of “The Cointreau Shake-Fest” at 10 pm, and counting down through the final moments of anticipation, guests will have the chance to enjoy original-recipe Cointreau Margarita and Cosmopolitan cocktails served by beautiful models. Cointreau’s subtle citrus taste – a harmonious balance of bitter and sweet orange peels – makes for the perfect beachside libation at the festival. After the “Shake-Fest,” guests are able to take home the mini-shakers that contain precisely measured, easy to make, printed recipes on the side of each shaker— allowing them to recreate the perfectly balanced cocktails at home!

Orange Drive is taking place alongside South Beach’s Ocean Drive between Sixth to Ninth Street. Kicking off on New Year’s Eve day and extending through January 2nd, Orange Drive will host a dynamic array of events leading up to the Discover Orange Bowl Game.

Cointreau Margarita
1 oz Cointreau
2 oz tequila
3/4 oz lime juice
Shake and strain into a salt rimmed margarita glass
Garnish: lime slice
Cointreau Cosmopolitan
1-1/2 oz vodka
1 oz Cointreau
1 oz cranberry juice
3/4 oz lime juice
Shake and strain into a chilled martini glass.
Garnish: twist of orange
