Launched in 2009, Lolli Popitt left the shoebox apartment & journeyed cross-town, to Lolli Land, their West Chelsea studio. Self-taught designer & co-founder of the company, Amanda Elle (a New York University, Studio Arts graduate) assumed the role of both entrepreneurial & creative director, continuing to draw inspiration for each work of art from the innocence of childhood dress-up & fantasy. With the idea that girls desire to ‘dress-up’ at any age, Lolli Popitt creates a tastefully provocative outlet for grown-ups to play dress-up in the realm of high fashion & sophistication.
