Local Woman Chosen as National Spokesperson For The Center For Medical Weight Loss After Losing More Than Half Her Body Weight

before pictureLess than three years ago, Gabriela Rosenthal of South Florida began a journey that would not only alter her weight but also change her life forever.  After losing and regaining 500 pounds through a series of failed diet plans, Rosenthal decided to join the Center for Medical Weight Loss.

As a client, she lost an additional 100 pounds and has been able to maintain her goal weight of 130 pounds for more than a year now.  In addition, Rosenthal opened her own franchise of CMWL with Dr. Elisabeth Cohn-Gelwasser in Pembroke Pines, Florida as a result of her success.

This month, Rosenthal was selected among the hundreds of CMWL success stories nationwide to become the face and figure for CMWL in a national Gabriela Rosenthal AFTERadvertising campaign featuring billboards and print and online advertisements.  The campaign rolled out in cities across the country this month, just in time for the New Year.

“Within the confines of my office, I have heard numerous inspirational stories from our patients and I absolutely enjoy what I do with CMWL,” reveals Rosenthal who is now a weight loss specialist at the CMWL at University Drive.  “I never imagined there could be anything more rewarding than losing the weight myself.   In hindsight, I can honestly say that helping others change their lifestyle and achieve their goal weight stands head and shoulders above any rewards I could ever have imagined.”

CMWL is a national network of physicians that helps patients drop body fat to the lowest percentage possible, while maintaining muscle mass.  The major difference between the CMWL and other weight loss programs is doctor supervision to ensure long term success.

Every CMWL patient receives individualized treatment with one-on-one care that includes nutrition, fitness, medication when necessary, motivation and counseling.  Using a combination of a low-calorie diet of shakes and nutrition bars, and, in some cases, prescription appetite suppressants, along with counseling in behavior Gabriela Rosenthal Jumping on Kangoos LRmodification and lifestyle changes, the Center helps ensure long-term weight loss results.  The average four-week weight loss is reported at around 21 pounds.

The Center for Medical Weight Loss at University Drive provides a clinical approach to shedding pounds with doctor-managed weight loss programs tailored to meet the individual patient’s goals.  The Center is located at 2209 N.
